Hiring - Team leads - Blade Technicians

I am looking for IRATA 3 or platform team lead Blade Technicians to join my clients dynamic team who are a leading player in the wind industry, specialising in comprehensive maintenance, repairs, and condition analysis of wind turbine blades.

Duration:   
1st of September to 30th of November 2023

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of technicians in various wind energy projects.
- Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair tasks on wind turbine blades.
- Execute tasks based on composite repair categories outlined below.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:
- IRATA L3 certification or platform team lead experience with multiple years of blade repair experience.
- Strong knowledge of composite materials and blade repairs.

Composite Repair Categories and Rates:
- Category 1 & 2: Inspection & Minor Repairs (Sand fill paint) - 33 €
- Category 3: Laminate Repairs (Core replacement) - 35 €
- Category 4: Laminate Repairs (Tip replacement) - 40 €
- Category 5: Laminate Repairs (Large structural repair) - 45 €
- Weather Wait Rate: 80%
- Daily Allowance: 40 €/day

Basic Wind Energy Training and Safety Certifications needed:
- GWO Basic
- First Aid
- Fire Awareness
- Manual Handling
- Working at Height
- Sea Survival (for offshore work)
- GWO ART-H (Hub)
- IRATA Certification
- Medical Certificate (including G41, ECG)
- Swedish medical (AFS 2019:3) for work in Sweden
- Confined Space Training
- Safety Passport
- CCNSG or equivalent (VCA, SSG Entree, Finnish Green Card, etc)
- ID06 or E-liggare (for work in Sweden)
- Valttikortti (ID Card for work in Finland)
- A1 Certification (suitable for multiple countries)
- Finnish Tax Number
- Driver's License (at least Category B)
- Valid Passport
