Global Business Development Manager - Autonomous Drone Inspection Services (Wind Energy Industry)

 

Our Client is revolutionizing the wind energy industry with AI-powered inspection solutions for wind turbine blades. Our autonomous drones and deep learning detection algorithms can reduce inspection time from hours to just around 15 minutes, enhancing efficiency while ensuring safety. We are a drone solution provider to one of the top 3 global OEMs and have expanded to provide inspection services in over 20 countries.

We are seeking an experienced Global Business Development Manager to lead our expansion efforts, focusing on the European and/or North American markets. This position is part of our Global Business Development team, working collaboratively with local partners and customers to facilitate international sales processes.

Job Description

As the Global Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for actively engaging with new and existing customers to sell Nearthlab's drone inspection services and data platform. You will be responsible for the full scope of the business process, from lead generation to deal closing. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing business pipelines from lead generation to sales, negotiation, contract, delivery, and post-sales support.
  • Engaging in competitive tenders with personal roles ranging from market research, price calculation to contract negotiations.
  • Participating in European/North American market strategy development from market research to product planning.
  • Identifying customer needs/pain points and designing short/long-term offers to address said requirements.
  • Preparing for conferences, exhibitions, and other related programs to generate leads and meet potential clients and partners.
  • Managing customer relationships to upsell existing products and troubleshoot any issues encountered in the business cycle.
  • Coordinating internally with operations and development teams to support ongoing business activities and establish future long-term business strategy.
