Wind turbine Service Technician (German Speaking, Electrical Experience Required)
Position: Service Technician WTG
Location: Multiple locations in Germany in Leer, Hamburg, Lübeck, Rostock, Neubrandenburg, Prenzlau, Grimmen, Halle, Cottbus, Edemissen, Lippstadt, Aschersleben, Spenge, Anröchte, Aachen, Mücke, Hof, Bitburg or Wörrstadt as a service technician
Employment: Full-time
Language Requirement: Must be able to communicate in German
Special Requirement: Significant experience in electrical engineering
Work Schedule: 3/1 rotation for non-Germany-based employees OR Monday to Friday with weekends on call for German residents,
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of wind turbines, with a focus on electrical systems.
- Testing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
- Documenting work carried out and implementing technical improvements.
- Adhering to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Availability for weekend and public holiday on-call duties.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified electronics or mechatronics technician, with extensive electrical experience.
- Experience in the wind energy sector is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel and work at heights.
- Proficient in German (written and spoken) with basic English knowledge.
- Holder of class B or BE driving license.
